Building Bombay: Business Families and the City

Avid Learning in association with NGMA Mumbai present, a discussion celebrating the contribution to nation building of various business and industrialist families of Bombay and their lasting legacy and influence on the cosmopolitan history of our city. Various families have steered and shaped the growth of the city and not just significant in economic contexts but also powerfully synonymous with the city’s very fabric. These families had great influence on architecture, commerce, and social and civic development of the city. This discussion is part of our Multipolis Mumbai series, which decodes the past while looking to the future and finding novel ways of engaging, interacting with and reenergizing the city that we love!
