DCP Expeditions has joined hands with Pune Mirror for offering a range of amazing photography experiences to the readers of Mirror. Here we bring to you a very informative #streetphotographyworkshop. Street photography is a very interesting genre of photography. Step outside the boundaries of the four walls and your comfort areas, with your camera; smell and experience the dirt on the roads, noise, stares and madness of rush on the streets. Take images of the vendors, food stalls, people rushing home from work, kids playing, the modern life and the traditional life; literally every aspect of life in its real form from every possible angle, the movements and the moments, every dimension and aspect of life on the streets of Pune, feel and capture the moments of real life!

This is an experiential workshop, a unique concept, where you walk in, get guided, try your hands on ‘do it yourself’ practical exercises and then, walk away with some amazing images. During an experiential workshop, our experts hand hold you on your camera settings and create an environment for you to get that perfect shot. An experiential workshop doesn’t involve any theory session. These are straight to action workshops specially crafted to guarantee that you will go back with an experience that you will never forget and images that you had ever made.

Mentor

Arvind Patole, an artist and an avid wildlife lover from Pune, India. He is an experienced wildlife photographer and his tryst with wildlife started with books. He has brilliant photography skills and technical knowledge in Wildlife photography with a special interest in bird photography. Arvind is a true conservationist and welfare of his subjects and care of the environment remains first on his list when in the wild. His images show the true beauty of nature around us. He has a great teaching acumen. Apart from his love for photography, drawing and painting, he is a skilled biodiversity expert and Wildlife Photography Expert associated with team DCP Pune.

Akshay is a wildlife enthusiast, avid traveler and a passionate wild life photographer from Pune. He has travelled across the country and various terrains of Western Ghats. He is extremely passionate about the landscapes, birds, reptiles and lesser fauna. He shares his knowledge about photography selflessly with people around him. He is talented photographer and has a great teaching and learning acumen. His photography has been acknowledged and appreciated across various platforms. By profession he is an engineer. He is a Senior Group Leader for Team DCP, Pune.
