Ratangadh Monsoon Trek
July 9 @ 12:00 am - August 5 @ 5:00 pm
Ratangadh – popularly known as the jewel fort in local parlance, is an interesting trekking getaway from our maddened city life. With hidden entrances, rock cut chimney climbs, thrilling ladders and mind-blowing views amidst the monsoon blossom of karvi flowers, there’s plenty of reasons to do this one. However, the real highlight is the “Nedhe” or Eye of the Needle, a hole in the Rock formed by wind erosion, a magnificent sight on its own, sitting here will give you a sense of achievement as you experience the howling winds. The Eye of the Needle is both literally and figuratively the high point of this trek as you relax and lord over all that is below you!
The 3-hour trek is uphill and Medium Grade. While first-time trekkers can participate, physical fitness is important.
